Screens Of August by NID Bangalore

Screens Of August is a tangible data visualisation of my personal screen time across the month of August 2022. The month was divided exactly into half between my semester break and the beginning of the next semester.

Through the visualisation, I wanted to record my pattern of phone usage, specifically categorised based on the type of apps being used in the month.

All the apps on my phone during this month were categorised into 9 categories and the time spent was an aggregator of all the individual apps used under that category. The tangible visualisation uses a card like acrylic as an indicator of each day and the stacked line bar graph indicates the app category usage time.
