Social Media Dashboard by Obafemi Awolowo University
This social media engagement dashboard provides an interactive and visually compelling overview of performance metrics across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. The design was inspired by the need for social media managers and analysts to have a unified platform for tracking, comparing, and optimizing engagement strategies.
The dashboard focuses on key metrics such as impressions, reactions, engagements, clicks, and shares, offering both high-level summaries and granular breakdowns. Key features include a Post Clicks by Day and Hour analysis to identify optimal posting times, a Content Type Performance section to assess the impact of photos, videos, text, and links, and a dynamic Engagement Heatmap for visualizing activity trends across days and hours.
The design emphasizes usability and interactivity, allowing users to seamlessly switch between platforms with intuitive navigation. Data storytelling is enhanced through clean visualizations, making it easy to derive actionable insights and improve campaign effectiveness.
This project reflects a data-driven approach to solving real-world challenges in social media marketing. By combining advanced data visualization techniques with aesthetic clarity, it empowers users to make informed decisions, optimize content strategies, and maximize engagement across platforms.
