Weaving Sustainable Futures by NID

This project was intended as exploring data and its representations in a tangible format. The tangibility attempts to add value to the representation in order to make it more understandable, accessible or impactful. The physicality of the data makes it more than what is possible via digital methods.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were taken as the theme for the studio. The idea was to represent any data from any Goal to compare and analyse trends, patterns and improvements for different countries. The tangibility of the representation would help people interact with and understand these issues more. This would inform, sensitize and urge people to take some action for the same.
