Net-Zero Navigator by Bertelsmann Stiftung
For the EU to achieve the goal of climate neutrality, its member states must significantly reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. And quickly. In order to maintain prosperity at the same time, economic performance must be decoupled from emissions to a much greater extent than previously.
Is this realistic? How would we have to alter our current speed of emission reduction to achieve such a goal and what would that mean for individual countries’ growth scenarios?
The Net-Zero Navigator compares the state of decoupling in Europe and beyond over the past 30+ years and visualizes individual country paths to a net-zero future.
