A Week in the Life of London Underground by Jon Reades

This visualisation was the outcome of my struggle to understand travel behaviour in London. The scale of London's transit system is daunting, and I came up with many complex approaches to the problem before hitting on a simple one: built from more than 27 million Oyster and magnetic card validations during the first week of the Olympic Games in 2012.
