Unveiling the Saudi Conflict by National Institute of Design

Unveiling the Saudi Conflict is a data-driven tale about the war between the USA and the Islamic terrorist group Al Qaeda on Saudi soil. This thematic cartography visualizes data relating to the number of attacks Al Qaeda has had on US officials and offices and more importantly the mortalities in the past 20 years. The main aim of this project was to shed light on the irony of how both these parties have shed blood on lands, not theirs. It also emphasises the history between Al Qaeda and the USA going all the way back to the 9/11 attacks
