Hadestown: A History by Student

This 24-page unofficial booklet of Anaïs Mitchell’s Broadway hit "Hadestown" features a narrative set of data visualizations to engage a long-time fan in the behind the scenes magic of a Broadway musical. Publicly available interviews, cast lists, casting requirements, and tour dates built the data set used to develop the infographics. From the ever-changing cast and endless rewrites to the crew that brings the production to life, each stage of the process becomes show-stopping graphics annotated by quotes from the ensemble.
